Training Classes

Reliant offers a full range of Security related training classes that we not only utilize for our highly trained personnel but offer to the general public. All our classes can be taught at your facility or in our large on site class room in both the Phoenix and Tucson areas. All of our firearms instructors are NRA certified and State of Arizona licensed.

ARIZONA STATE SECURITY LICENSE (UNARMED DPS CARD)

Reliant teaches the 8 hrs state mandated training class needed to obtain an Unarmed Security License or to renew your security License.

ARIZONA STATE SECURITY FIREARMS LICENSE (ARMED DPS CARD)

Reliant teaches the 16 hour state mandated training class needed to obtain an Armed Security License, we also teach the 8 hour yearly refresher class needed to keep your armed license current.

CCW

Reliant teaches the State mandated class needed to obtain an Arizona Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW.) We also provide all the paperwork and fingerprints needed for your license.

NRA FIRST STEP FIREARMS TRAINING

This class is designed for someone who has never held a firearm before. It will teach you the basic parts of a firearm. It will also teach you how to hold, load, and clean a firearm. This class is to provide an introduction to the skills, knowledge, and attitude vital to owning and using a specific pistol model safely.

NRA BASIC PISTOL TRAINING

This class is designed to build on the First Steps class. It covers the same as the First Steps class; however is a lot more in depth with pistol parts, operation, shooting fundamentals, and levels of awareness. This class is for students that have a small understanding of pistols and firearms.

NRA PERSONNEL PROTECTION IN THE HOME TRAINING

This class is designed to build on the Basic Pistol class. It covers home safety and laws governing use of pistols in your home. This course is for the experienced shooters only. In this course you will do many cover and concealment drills and mind setting to protect yourself in your home. This class can be given on a one on one basis.

NRA FIREARMS SAFETY CLASSES FOR YOUTH

This class is designed for youth 12-17 years of age. It is designed to teach them about pistol safety, the laws that govern pistols, how to hold a firearm, load a firearm, and the basics of firing a pistol safely.

NRA EDDIE THE EAGLE FIREARMS SAFETY PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN

This class is designed for children 3-11 years of age. The Eddie Eagle Program is a gun accident prevention program for children. It uses instructional materials including workbooks and an animated video to teach children that if they find a gun in an unsupervised situation, they should: Stop! Don't Touch. Leave the area and tell someone.
